3 Companies ( #337, #5463, and #1399) enrolled and worked here from May, 1933 to July, 1941. Major projects included building 30 miles of roads, 12 miles of footpaths, Dozens of buildings and 2 Dams. Along with thousands of other conservation and recreational projects, the CCC "boys" built lives for themselves and a future for all who use these facilities.
