Description of Memorial:
Small stone flat column rising between two growing hedges. Ships or school bell mounted behind monument, with no explanation of what or why it is there.
When I take one of my history hunting trips, I usually do 3 counties at a time. spend two or three days hunting. I know about some marker in advance then use the travel to hunt down others. I always go to county seat courthouse lawns, and I always leave the state or local hwys to enter small town and just cruise around to see what they may have and I always find a gem of two such as this memorial.
