Description of Memorial: The flags of the six services fly behind three black polished marble monoliths. Center riser contains the sand scraped image of the US Flag, the seals of the 6 services (they include the Merchant Marines, USMC, US Air Force, US Navy, US Army, US Coast Guard). Right column bears the flag of the POW/MIA and text. The left column shows a descending eagle with talons extended and the dedication.
Local police circled the block several time watching this long haired biker as I walked around the courthouse lawn. A state historic marker about Lincoln and Douglas, this memorial and the original WWI memorial are on this lawn. A couple of Civil War cannon, but no text or specific monument. Interesting place, Olney is of course, famous for their colony of Albino Grey Squirrels. The city park is full of these white squirrels.
Wars mentioned (Multi-war only): Not listed
 Date of dedication: Not listed
