Named for the city’s founding father, this 48-hectare park is a favorite family picnic spot with lovely meadows and rolling hillsides. Its wooded ravine and trails also make it a prime destination for runners, hikers and open-air enthusiasts.

Somewhat off the beaten path, Robert Burnaby Park is one of the city’s relatively “secret” and undiscovered getaways. Tennis courts and a large outdoor swimming pool can be found on the park’s upper slope. And make sure the kids have lots of time to frolic in the playground.

Being an outdoor pool it is open seasonally, from the end of may until the end of August
