Old Settlers Log Cabin -Dixon IL In 1871 Lee County wanted to build a memorial to early settlers. They asked each land owner from around the area to cut a log and initial it for the building. The original site was ground overlooking Dixon where the Black Hawk and his people once hunted. The building was moved to the old Ft Dixon site in 1969.
