A great hut overlooking Lake Rotoiti with relatively easy access from Mount Robert Car Park. It is however in an Alpine area and caution is needed at all times of the year as you are exposed to the weather!

It can be used on the route into Lake Angelus Hut, as an overnight stay for younger trampers or as a lunch shelter for a circular day walk (Pinchgut track and Paddy's track)
