We have lived on Beacon Hill for 10 years and have long admired this work of art that resides in our neighborhood. Made of stainless steel, characters taken from a Confucian proverb are cut into this work and rearranged according to the laws of chance by artist Alex Wu. We are grateful to have had the chance to learn more about this visually compelling piece of art that we have walked by – and never failed to notice – hundreds of times over the last decade.
