This wonderful little dog statue is sitting next to a grave marker in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. He is facing the marker as you approach it.

He has been placed next to a marker for a mother and child that were lost of the same day, when the child was 2 days old. We got the feeling that this little dog was definitely there for this marker.
