This spacious house was built in 1880 by Roscoe Hersey, a wealthy Stillwater lumberman who also served in the Minnesota State Senate in 1878, representing District 22. George Orff was the architect of this beautiful Queen Anne home, which features classic Stick/Eastlake style architecture with geometric shapes made possible by modern machine techniques of the era.
