This railroad provides a number of themed excursions and serves an optional meal on most rides.
The rides begin at the Gettysburg and Harrisburg Railway Station, which dates back to 1884, and then pass NW through part of the battlefield where most of the fighting took place on the first day. Frome there, the tracks turn north into rural adams County - round trip is about 16 miles & lasts 1 1/4 hours.
The railroad also features the popular Murder Mystery Dinner, and an Extended Scenic tour which adds several more miles of track, as well as several additional themes throughout the year.
