This marker is laid on the grave of Clifton D. Long (09/16/1880 - 05/28/1944). It consists of a simple polished granite slab with the WOW emblem, name and birth/death dates.
This cemetary is located on Highway 315, just south of Holland Road in Harris County, Georgia. It is the resting place of the Thomason and Long families. The exact relationship of the two families is unknown. The earliest burial in this cemetary appears to have been done in 1886 and the last appears to have been in 1975. The cemetary appears to have only three of for additional plots within the fence and the fence itself appears to have been placed in the 1960's or 1970's based on its design and state of decay. This is a pleasant resting place in a quiet section of Georgia woods.
