Erected in 1923, this wrap-around plaque can be found on the flag pole, a little above eye level. It is dedicated to the fallen heroes of World War I and lists their names. It is located in Patterson Park/Highlandtown HIstoric District.

The text reads "In loving memory of our boys from East Baltimore who made the supreme sacrifice. 1917-1918" There are approximately 160 names on the pole. At the bottom is the 1923 dedication date.
Also in this area, about 30 feet away is a gigantic relief statue of General Count Casimir Pulaski, memorialized for his loyalty to the cause of liberty during the American Revolutionary War. As you first enter the park, you will travel down a long walkway and just before the memorial, the flag pole is on the left.
