This building was very close to another building with little or no room to pass between them. Recently, the building next door was demolished and the area was cleaned up and a small park was created. Some local artists decided to add some beauty to the now visible wall. My interpretation of the mural would be that it represents the early days of the Village of Lyons, with the old trolley and the old Erie Canal and canal boat. This mural was completed in a very short 2 week period, as I was there two weeks ago, and they were just painting the entire wall blue.
