Located at the Douglass-Truth branch of the Seattle Public Library system, Children of the Sea is a whimsical work of art by Marita Dingus. This piece, which is located prominently on the far wall of the library, showcases three copper children who appear to be joyously swimming through metallic vines and hearts. Constructed out of recycled and reclaimed copper, these shiny tots are five feet long and leave a memorable impression.
