The Post Box is located in the centre of the village on a wall. Most of the houses were built in 1830 to be Estate cottages for the nearby Lilford Hall Estate. The Box is in good condition.

Achurch is a quiet, country village with some impressive features. There is an old well memorial near the Post Box.
