Not as spectacular as a naturally occurring waterfall but still interesting to see. The concrete sluiceway is approx. 30 (100ft) long and creates a 4-5m (12-15ft) drop before firing the water out onto natural bedrock. The water is moving quite fast and has some serious force behind it. I recommend staying back especially if visiting with small children. At the top of the waterfall there is a bridge that crosses over from the parking lot to a walking trail. From the bridge you can stand over the concrete sluiceway and see the waterflow. There is a walking trail that runs parallel to the water flow with benches along the way.
The parking area contains outhouses and bear-proof garbage cans. The parking area is open from May til October. Outside of those months the gate is closed and not winter maintained. The falls however run year round.
