Legion Park is a mile-long park along the North Branch of the Chicago River. At the north end, on the property of a former motel, is a welcoming fountain, built in 2001. Located in the West Ridge neighborhood at the intersection of US 14 (Peterson Ave) and US 41 (Lincoln Ave), the fountain provides a welcoming centerpiece and entrance to the longer park.
