Mann Lake - Lewiston, ID. - Fishing Holes on Waymarking.com

Trout are planted here on a regular basis in the summer. The small mouth bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish take care of themselves. Trout are the most sought after species here but the other fishing is pretty good as well, but often overlooked. I had a friend used to fly fish for the crappie using a gold ribbed hares ear caddis and his float tube with great success. I have always just enjoyed the trout myself. Boats and floating devices are allowed from Jan. 1 - Sept. 30. Electric motors are allowed. Lake is managed jointly between Idaho Fish and Game and the local water dist. (L.O.I.D.). Besides fishing this is also a nice birding area. No Fee.

Folks utilizing the model airplane club airstrip can be at times entertaining.

Recommended tackle: Trout: Eggs and marshmallows or a red and white daredevil 3/8 oz. Recommended fishing methods: Boats and other floating devices have become more and more popular here. Almost anything that floats has been used. As mentioned before some restrictions apply best to check updated regs, but I mention them as it is now signed.
