This unique sundial memorial is found in Denver's City Park. The memorial reads:
Erected in Memory Of OUR FATHERS by the Daughters of Union Veterans of the CIVIL WAR 1861-1865
The memorial is in good condition, but it is very wobbly on its base. There is an American Flag carved on the reverse of the memorial. The memorial was presented by the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. The gnomon is still present and the poem on the face of the sundial reads:
Clear the Bugle Call;
Steady the Footsteps Fall;
Veterans, Heroes All;
Pass in Parade.
