Memorial is in the form of an stucco alcove with a bronze memorial plaque mounted on the interior wall flanked by columns. Also within this park are memorials for World War 2, Korean War, Vietnam War and an Armed Services memorial. There are also 3 memorials dedicated to specifically named servicemembers who gave their lives in war and a memorial walkway flanked by walls with names of all Nevada County veterans. This park is in a hollow in the center of the town of Grass Valley, California. It is a cool, green, peaceful setting.
