In honor of the veterans of Enosburg, Vermont.

Sculpture "Spirit of the American Doughboy" by E.M.Viquesney (1876-1946) on an earthen mound, with a plaque at the base of the mound listing veterans by name.

This same statue can be found in over 150 locations around the country, including another WWI memorial in St. Albans. A significant difference between this statue and others is that this doughboy is not carrying his rifle in his left hand (guessing it was damaged or stolen).
