Found this arch while looking for several geocaches in the area. Made of
bentonite clay and layers of limestone. See some great examples of identical
eroded material at the nearby Cathederal Gorge State Park. There is also a great
spring/swimming hole (Panaca) to the NW...look for the clump of trees. I call it
teapot arch because from a distance in the South (from town) it looks like a
teapot with the two smaller arches as the handles. The main arch is about 10-15
ft at its highest point.
