This is the very first house to the west of Mill street, consequently, this house (now commercial) marks the beginning of the western part of this historic district. It certainly earns its contributing structure status; this is a beautiful property.

The two men who were manning the Prudential main desk were kind enough to let me examine the interior of this fine, old home. I only took one picture, but it should give a flavor of the home. Currently this is a real-estate office for Prudential Fox & Roach.

Located at 1 W. Main St. in downtown Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district.

The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1855. 3-story, 5-register late Greek Revival/Italianate frame house, resided with aluminum. End pilasters. Porch-fronted, bracketed cornice. Central entrance with side lights, transom, and Greek Revival entablatured frontispiece. 1/1 double hung at first floor, original Italianate 4/4 double hung at second floor and 2/2 double hung at third floor. Flat roof, brackets with pendants. Victorian cast stone fence across front of property. - Contributing.
