Memorial dedicated to the Jackson County Oregon residents who lost their lives in the Vietnam War. Memorial is constructed of brass plaques mounted on a steel plate which is mounted on a painted Redwood wall located on the west side of the rest area. The Fleming Rest Area is on property donated by the Fleming family in honor of their son, Specialist 4 John F. Fleming, United States Army, who was killed in action April 29, 1967. The rest area is located at the intersection of Depot Street and the Rogue River Highway in Rogue River, Oregon.
