Schlosser Park is a small park located at the intersection of North Salina Street and Route 11, near the center of Syracuse. It was donated by Charles Schlosser, a German immigrant as a place to put the equestrian statue of German Civil War veteran Gustavus A. Sniper. The statue was placed here in 1905 in honor of Sniper's Civil War contributions. The park is maintained by the city and in recent years, many rose bushes have been added to the park to make it more appealing to the eye.
