Located on the Spanish border with Portugal. The "Miño" river makes a natural border with Portugal, and this castle is close to the river, this way the border was protected from enemy. It was constructed in 1640. Right now it´s been repaired and the parts of the wall that disapeared are being changed by wood this way you can see clear which shape the castle was.
