Located at 910 Ashby Avenue, just as you get off the freeway, this is an actual location where burl art and wooden carvings are made. Frequently when you pass, there's a bearded guy in overalls with a chainsaw creating the stuff. For the "urbane" city of Berkeley, it's a lovely anomaly. Generally there are a half a dozen bears outside, this being "Bear Territory", i.e. U.C. Berkeley Bears.
