Long Description:
This day-use shelter is located on the Appalachian Trail between the Pinnacle and the Meadow Spring Trail.

No open air fires are permitted, but there are 2 outdoor grills (although one is almost overgrown and obviously not been used in recent times) and a fireplace.

There is a water fountain, but even though a trail marker notes the fountain is drained in freezing weather, it was inoperable on a summer day. There is a spring less than a ½ mile away.

One picnic table is on site.
