We found this mailbox while out geocaching in this area. It is located high on a mountaintop just opposite one of the Catholic Churches in Boone.

This is a "one of a kind" mailbox as it looks like an artisan created it. I've never seen another like it before. With its whimsical face to curly tail and painted fur this is a very cute box.
