This location on 12 Mile Creek is best accessed from the Morningstar Mill parking area, then following the Bruce Trail. Be on the lookout for an area to descend but be warned... it involves a significant climb with a rope.

You can instead continue along another few hundred meters to where the Bruce Trail turns 90 degrees to the right. Instead of making the turn, continue forward on the trail then descend to the left down two tiers. Work your way back to the falls along the river bank. This could be best described as the lesser of two evils.

You will however be rewarded with a gorgeous waterfall that plummets just over 30 feet, in two small steps. The water is always flowing but due to winter conditions at the site none but the most experienced should attempt a visit during that period, and definitely not alone.

While this might sound rather intense, it is also true that several children under 10 have made the trek with relative ease and assistance from some adults.

During the summer months the water is very refreshing and if you bring towels you can even stand under the falls to get the experience that only nature can provide.
