The Pease house, located at the corner of Cemetery Road and Bunker Hill Road was constructed in the Federal-style in the period from 1816-1826.
Two generations of the Peases, Daniel and Miriam and their seven children, provided their home as a haven for runaway slaves. Their farmhouse became an important stop for the Underground Railroad. It was placed on the NRHP in 2002.
