This benchmark is located at the Paulina Creek bridge on County Rd. 21. The cap is located in the northeast bridge abutment. The cap was set by the State Highway Department and is stamped 6-20-96 and 953 on the cap, these also occur on the GIS point at the west end of the bridge. These stampings are newer than the benchmark which pre-dates 1969 when the Oregon State Highway Department became the Oregon Department of Transportation.
