This was the home of Daniel and Miriam Pease, one of the stops for the Underground Railroad. Slaves escaping to Canada would stop here before moving on to Lake Ontario and Canada to gain their freedom.

This home was one of a few local places that slaves were welcome to hide out at while making their way to Canada to gain their freedom. It was owned by the Pease Family and was a stop on the Underground Railroad from 1818 to 1847. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of the important role it played in local history. It is located at 361 Cemetery Road in the Town of Oswego, New York.
