Long Description:
Sponsored each year by the radio station 93Q and Heineken Beer, the
93Q Heineken Balloon Fest is held at Jamesville Beach County Park,
a few miles south of the City of Syracuse, New York. The balloon
fest is held each year, usually on the second weekend in June. The
balloons come from all over the country to take part in this
festival. There is live music all weekend on a grandstand, lots of
food booths, game booths and carnival rides to be found here as
well. The festival starts on Friday and ends Sunday evening. There
is no charge for parking but there is an entrance fee to enter the
festival. The balloons are scheduled to lift off Saturday and
Sunday mornings at 6 am and Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings
from 6-7:30 pm. Balloon rides cost from $125.00 to $150.00 per
person, depending on morning or evening flights.
