This beautiful sculpture was the focal point of this pocket park's dedication and opening ceremony. It is located below the Ashe County Library on the back street of West Jefferson.

This small mountain community prides itself on its local artisans and this is just one of R.T. Morgans contributions to the Art Community of this area. He has not only this beautiful stainless steel "Flame" sculpture he also does murals that can be seen throughout the area.
The park is a project to create a small park area on the back street for residents and visitors to enjoy with a landscaped footpath to the library, benches, picnic tables, trees, sculpture, arbor entrance, dry creek bed, stone walls, flowers and shrubs.
