Today,
Philadelphia International Airport continues to serve United and American, but it also serves 15 other domestic and international air lines including being the hub for US Airways' international flights.
The Philadelphia International Airport uses four runways for approximately 400,000 aircraft operations annually. The longest runway is 10,499 feet long.
There are technically five passenger terminals for the nearly 5 million visitors, but Terminal A where the coordinates were taken, is divided between an East and West Terminal.
Throughout the entire complex, there are plenty of opportunities to shop, dine and, for the little ones, play. If your flight does not leave for a while, you can even wander and admire some artwork and sculptures on display.
