This benchmark is located at the southeast corner of the railroad bridge across the Arnold Canal. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1933 and was stamped H102, 3906.030 feet. There is a short red metal fence post near the benchmark.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1933 5.5 MI S FROM BEND. ABOUT 5.5 MILES SOUTH ALONG THE DALLES-CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY FROM BEND, DESCHUTES COUNTY, ABOUT 500 FEET WEST OF MILEAGE 146.9, AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY BRIDGE OVER THE ARNOLD DITCH, IN THE TOP OF THE ABUTMENT. A STANDARD DISK STAMPED H 102 1933.
