Ever since 1976 there has been an annual planting of a Geranium atop this limstone fountain, which is carried out each spring.
Oille was also the planner of the first water system in St. Catharines.
Today a modest amount of water flows out for public drinking, with a lower trough for pets as well. Behind this fountain is a nice sitting garden with benches and plantings. A nice reprieve from the downtown area to read and relax.
