Long Description:
Mendon Ponds has over 2,500 acres, making it the largest park owned by Monroe County. It received it's designation as a National Natural Landmark in November 1967 due to the unique glacial features including kettle holes, eskers, kames, bogs and ponds.

"Devil's Bathtub" is a kettle hole that is also a meromictic lake.
