This is a very stately and stoic manor with an oddly and slightly offset front entrance. There is also three oddly placed windows atop the front side, slightly left. The beauty in this home can definitely be found in its quirkiness and uniqueness compared to its neighboring structures.
Located at 154 East Main Street in downtown Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district.
The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1900. 2 1/2-story, 6-register Colonial Revival house, stuccoed. Pedimented portico, asymmetrical fenestration; wood belt course between first and second floor; molded wood cornice with wide flat frieze. Gable roof with two paired pedimented dormers. West elevation: 1-story wood porch, Doric columns and balustrade. 1-story wood addition to east. - Contributing.”
