This memorial was a project of Lexington Middle school students who, aided by local businesses and citizens, raised funds for this attractive free standing clock. The four faced clock is located on the southwest corner of the courthouse square, in front of Dawson County's historic courthouse. A plaque on the base of the clock identifies it as a 9/11 memorial.
