This statue has been in place for many years. It is located off Linwood-Southmont Rd. in Davidson Co. Just outside the Lexington city limits.

It gets a fresh coat of paint every few years, and the lawn it overlooks is manicured as if it was a golf course. It is a very regal statue out in the middle of nowhere.
