Nice plaque left on the bridge mentions:

Salem Creek Bridge

Built For City Of Winston Salem And Forsyth County

Built By Luten Bridge Company
Knoxville, Tenn. 1921

I am not a regular traveler to this area, and can not make a mention as to when the bridge was orphaned. It looks to have been semi recently stripped of its asphalt, and still has equipment trails from that process. It is wide open to foot traffic, and looks to be in semi local use by pedestrians.

No good side angle was available due to extensive overgrowth. It does cross a creek.
