This is a very intricate and well-thought out memorial sitting in front of the Elm Vol. Fire Co. on the right side of the building. The inscription honors those who have protected and continue to protect the residents of Elm.

For such a small fire company, and volunteer at that, I was very surprised to find a memorial this involved. Fairly typical of these fire houses are the boiler plate memorial specials, affixed horizontally to the brick wall next to the bay doors. Someone definitely put some thought into this. The front of the memorial reads Winslow Twp., net the fire station is in Elm. Go figure that one out!
