Buffalo's first off leash dog area was created in the summer of 2007 in a small area in LaSalle Park. The doggie play area was formerly used as a baseball field, so it is a pretty decent size. Most of the grass has been covered with mulch. Only one 'hurdle' was present for dogs to practice their jumping skills, otherwise it's pretty much a wide open area.

The play place is still in it's early stages, but there's hope that sometime in the future a water element and shady areas will be added. For more information check out BuffOLA's website.
