Long Description:
In 1886, the Village of Fillmore decided it needed a local
volunteer fire department. In 1887 a group of 32 men had drawn up
and passed the original by-laws. In 1981 under the leadership of
W.P. Brooks the fire department built its first hose house. The
present fire hall was built in 1975.
