This bike shop is one block away from the Erlton Fire Company, so if you like to "burn rubber" on your bike, you are safe to do so. The Shop gets its name, Erlton, from the unincorporated name of this community dating back to the early 20th century.
History
Erlton Bicycle Shop opened in 1974 in a small storefront on Route 70. With a winning combination of quality bicycles and friendly, professional service, customers were soon lining up outside the door. So many, in fact, that Erlton Bike Shop soon outgrew its diminutive space. Luckily a larger store was available almost next door. So in 1992, with skill, fortitude and hundreds of deck screws, Pete and Chris carved out the new, larger home for Erlton Bicycle Shop.
Years later in May of 2003, the Erlton Bike Shop debuted on the world wide web. In 2007 the shop got a makeover.
