A cairn and plaque at the headwaters of the Credit River details how the waters flow 103km from this point to meet Lake Ontario. The water descends about 332 meters in the process.
When combined, all of the tributaries of the Credit River measure 1500km to form a watershed that measures approximately 950 square kilometers.
From this point a reed filled waterway can be seen twisting off to the South.
