Large window as well as smaller ones depicting religious scenes. The gothic-revival cathedral was built in 1854 and survived the 1906 quake only to be gutted by fire. It served as the original Archdiocese of San Francisco until 1891 when it was replaced by a larger church on Van Ness Street.
