Cobblestone House

Built ca, 1883 for Philo Newton,
early settler, who was born in
Vermont in 1797. This house is on
the State and National Register
of Historical Places.

Philo Newton was born on August 10, 1797 in Ira, Rutland, VT. He married Mariah Bailey on June 18, 1814 in Williamston, MA. (That makes him 17!!)
This was all the information that I was able to locate about him.

But this is one of the over 700 buildings that exist in the area between Lockport and Rochester, New York.
